I've been riding and lately servicing on my own my Piaggio Xevo 250 trying to learn how things works while saving the service money for more gas and trips.

This Piaggio Xevo did survive 500.000km
Modern days consumerism leads us to replace our machines and electronics after some use and some years. But it is not always the case. Some times due to economic factors, poverty or the brilliant idea that the best recycling is not to recycle an aged machine but to maintain it, service it until it is not possible to use it anymore.
This Piaggio Xevo traveled 500.000km so far. If that was a spaceship he could travel to the moon and he would be on his halfway home! (about 384.400km distance to the moon)
In the rate I am using my Piaggio, I think I may never need to buy another one, ever!
