How to lock and secure your motorcycle Piaggio

Easy and simple methods of preventing theft of your vehicle in most cases.

We all hate the idea to have our little fortune disappeared. But many of us don't think the threat of bike theft as high risk. Some people are lucky to live in areas with little or no criminality at all. But even though you ride your beloved motorcycle in other places too so you have to be prepared and cautious.  

1. First of all use the steering lock. Some people forget to turn the key to lock position and when they get back from the store they just got in, they don't find their bike there.

(TIP) Use also the green/orange cable that will remind you to unlock the lock and don't forget the lock on and damage your fork.

• Chain the motorbike with an object to avoid having it lifted and carried away.

• Alarm. If an attempt is made it will alarm and notify the neighborhood. If you are around you might save your bike. Most solo thieves will run away with a simple yell. Organised gangs are most likely prepared and maybe armed for a melee street fight. So always you have to evaluate the
